Zbigniew Dubiella, (*1949)

Polish famous teacher, publisher of guitar music and guitarist. He completed his musical studies at the music academy in Gdansk with Prof. Jan Paterek. Zbigniew Dubiella started his teaching career at the music school of his hometown Koszalin. His students have been successful in various guitar competitions. He has also organized guitar festivals and competitions ( "Meetings with Guitar Music" and "All Polish Guitar Competitions for music schools").
As author he has been working for the guitar magazine "Gitara & Bass". Later he worked as vice chief-editor of Polish Guitar magazine "Swiat Gitary." Today he is working for the new magazine "Top Guitar". The topics of his articles range from guitar activity, guitar history and reviews of compositions and recordings. He is the author of "The Lexicon of Polish guitarists" and has also been writing regularly for "The Classical guitar", London.
Zbigniew Dubiella has been jury member in various Polish and foreign competitions. He holds lectures on guitar festivals all over the world and he especially famous for his unique collection of guitar music and recordings.
