 Shin-ichi Fukuda
born in Osaka in 25th Dec, 1955 and began studying the classical
guitar at the age of 12 under Maestro Tatsuya Saitoh (1942-2006).
He subsequently studied at L'Ecole Normal de la Musique in Paris,
under Maestro Alberto Ponce and Academia Chigiana in Siena, under
Maestro Oscar Ghiglia.
Fukuda was subsequently awarded many important
prizes. Then, 1981 he got the highest honor prize in Classical Guitar
world. First prize in the 23rd Paris International Guitar Compe-
tition organized by Radio France.
FUKUDA has performed extensively at home and abroad, and has
presented recitals in the major cities of nations. FUKUDA is also
highly gifted and enthusiastic teacher and as such has trained many
pupils who have gone on to gain the highest honors.
